Chinese Medicine Health Clock #chinesemedicine
Показать описание
According to Chinese medicine, every 2 hours in a 24 hour period, corresponds to a meridian/organ system. This is the Chinese medicine health clock.
The Chinese medicine health clock can help us stay healthy (if we follow its rhythm!) But also can provide us with clues of imbalance.
⏰5 to 7 am is the best time to empty your bowel.
⏰ 7 to 9 am is time for a healthy breakfast. If someone is never hungry in the morning, there is sign of digestive issues.
⏰ 9 to 11 am is the best time to be active (mentally or physically). If you’re tired at that time, check you TCM spleen (or your cortisol levels).
⏰ 11 am to 1 pm avoid eating at your desk, or drinking coffee, be gentle to your heart and be mindful.
⏰ 1 to 3 pm, most people are dehydrated by mid afternoon, and feel fatigue.
⏰ 3 to 5 pm: dark urine? Drink water or herbal teas!
⏰ 5 to 7 pm is the best time to reconnect with your loved ones, away from devices!
⏰ 7 to 9 pm is the time to unwind by reading or meditating.
⏰ 9 to 11 pm is bed time! The best restful sleep is between 10/11 pm to 6/7 am.
⏰ 11 pm to 1 am, if you can’t sleep at that time, it’s a sign of self doubt, and decision making issues.
⏰ 1 to 3 am: awakening at this time is a sign of stress!
⏰ 3 to 5 am is Lung time. Waking up before 5 am, the immune system can become depleted.
This is the cyclical flow of Qi in the meridians within a 24 hour day. Listen to your body, follow the flow and watch for clues of imbalances. Prevention is key!
