As someone that enjoys both, I'd imagine this being given the "Rise of The Beasts" treatment if Joe was Optimus Prime and Akira was Optimus Primal lol.

Plus, the bad guys in this could be more like The Terrorcons too XD.

Honestly wish this had become a full-on show like a full reboot of Devilman except with Cyborg 009 or something like a full adaption of both mangas mashed together would be so cool. And since all the devil man reboots are Canon it actually would make sense.

It sucks that the animation with the best artstyle for both Devilman and Cyborg 009 is a short crossover anime, We really can't have good things

sadly it was like 80% of the "VS" crossovers: a lot of story and only one actual scene of actual fight between the characters who are suposed to be fighting each other.
