"Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) has filled her campaign coffers with Wall Street cash — but some donors are miffed she’s spent more than $100,000 of it on luxury hotels, private jets, limos and fine wines, On The Money has learned.

Since 2021, Sinema has spent nearly $20,000 worth of campaign donations on wine-related expenses alone — dropping thousands at some of the most exclusive vineyards on the West Coast including Promontory Winery in Napa Valley, Auteur Winery in Sonoma and Argyle Winery in the Willamette Valley, according to election filings.

During that same timeframe, Sinema spent nearly $10,000 in campaign funds at posh restaurants like the Russian Tea Room in New York City and Sketch in London’s Mayfair neighborhood, as well as restaurants in Barcelona, Paris and Miami. "

I'm in Arizona and between her and Paul Gosart we are all but doomed I've tried to contact her about the min wage issue and covid info never able to get response but I did see her appearances to vote down all assistance for her struggling constituents that were put forth. She is for sale and I hope whoever is buying understands what they are not getting for their money!

Sinema knows that her time at the prince's ball is about over, and her coach is about to return to a pumpkin. Food, wine private jets and limos? That's being paid for by her corporate donors. She doesn't care. The corporate donors don't care. Why should the rest of us care what she spends their money on? What this does show is what a boondoggle being a US Senator (or Congressman) is, and how flimsy the campaign finance laws and rules are. She a worst offender because she knows the worst that would happen is that she'd loose re-election, and that result is already a given for other reasons. So, party on Kyrsten, while it lasts. Now if Biden were a lesser person, and if he still held a grudge over her defection from the Party, he cold send the IRS to audit her conversion of donations into de facto personal income and hand her a tax bill that would knock her socks off (then take the socks along with everything else).

None of it is illegal. They can claim literally any expense as a campaign expense because of the way the law is written. Large Marge Green just had a 65k fence built around her private home claiming it was for security. She also bought expensive cars with campaign money. Don’t blame the players. Blame the rule book.
