Great video. I'm glad you mentioned that getting a pet is to enrich THEIR lives, not yours. I have a Yorkie and I spend at least 4 hours with him going on walks, car rides, feeding and putting to bed. It's not about him entertaining me, but me making sure HIS life is enjoyable and rewarding.

Thank you for loving this guy enough to take good, quality care of his needs. Also, keep preaching to people who want one of these about how to humanely take care of them.

I have a female marmoset named Lilly Jo. She just turned 4 December 2nd. I am with her 24/7. She goes out for her sun light and also has a UVA/uvb light. Honestly they require someone who has much more than 2 hours. If you think you want one make sure you can meet their dietary needs and emotional needs. Which means as their troop leader they really need you to be able to spend many hours a day with them. They do not like to be alone. When I go shopping or to the doctor my son said Lilly just screams for me. Zero is adorable I wish you both many happy years together

Awwww! Thank you so much for taking the time to do an informational video. I want a Marmoset but wasn't sure what it takes to care for it. Thanks a bunch.

I like how Zero is constantly looking out for predators. Smart guy! Thanks for sharing about Zero. 😁 🐒

I had two of these I raised from babies, male and a female. They’re really cute and funny and entertaining and will cuddle a bit, but they have a very strong odor if kept indoors, their pee gets outside of the cage and is greasy, they don’t like to keep diapers on, they fly up your legs and curtains and are ultra fast and their claws are tiny and sharp and leave itchy scratch marks on you. They also tend to use their teeth on people. My make bit my friend hard on his ear and made him bleed. He had never bit me before other than play biting which was sometimes hard. They will never be fully domesticated because they’re wild animals. Other than that they make good pets! 😂

If I had one I’d spend all hours of the day with it

He won't take off for the tree's ? Seems very content but I would be really nervous. Awesome little guy though, congrats.

I never cage my marm unless I have an emergency. He even sleeps with me.

Having a pet like that seems like more of a lifestyle. Like keeping a parrot

What else does he do I'll tell ya! He wishes he had another marm to play with too. No matter how much U love em they still NEED interaction n companionship from one of their kind.

You are a good dad. Still...I feel he should have a friend. Very sad to be the only of your kind when you are a social creature.

I enjoyed your video. I’ve viewed other sites that state not to take them outside because they are susceptible to getting sick just like we do. How did you train Zero to hang with you outside like that?

I’m doing as much research as possible before I find a breeder but most importantly a vet.

I came across one in Zoosiana yesterday. In the zoo in Broussard, Louisiana. I can tell they need love & attention. I baby talked one of them & I can tell the common marmoset loved it! Unfortunately I wasn't able to pet it or anything like that. I did baby talk it & I can tell it absolutely loved it! ❤
