"I heard you were on tour with the Beatles ..." ... "well, they were on tour with me" LOL Lil Richard never let anything pass. The Greatest

Wow, James Brown was his vocalist, Jimi Hendrix his guitar player and Billy Preston keyboard. Then he took the Beatles on tour with him before anybody knew who they were. What a powerful history indeed.

Little Richard is Hilarious, he was born to be a great and fun entertainer. He's very funny, fun, very charismatic, very positive and jovial person. Just love his awesome personality and wonderful laughter

Little Richard did it all before everyone else. What a down to earth Musical Legend.

Whoever published this, please keep this available for future viewing. Little Richard was beautiful inside & out, with or without makeup. He outlived Michael & Prince... imagine that. And he died a believer in Jesus! What a life.

I’m watching this video on the day Little Richard died (May 09, 2020) and just awed by how much he thanks God in this video. Constant praise. And it made me realize that while God didn’t give Little Richard everything he wanted, he allowed him to see his music and music from the 1950’s come back around again and become re-appreciated, in a better way than it was when it was new. He outlived so many 1st generation rock and roll singers and never left God. Inspirational. I hope an updated movie is made about his life, reflecting that along with his music.

This is one if the more intelligent and genuine interviews with Mr. Richard. I appreciate how Mr. Snyder was honest and open about how racism was in America. Unfortunately it still exist.

Unbelievable, he overcame hate, violence and abuse to become the epitome of the American dream. Through his music he turned evil into love and hardships into joy. God blessed the world with his beloved son Richard who gave us all the gift of Rock ‘n’ Roll. I can only imagine his show in heaven, first thing I do when it’s my time is to get my ticket.

One of Tom's best interviews. A lot of in depth perceptions on the state of culture back in the 50's. Little Richard is an icon.

It’s crazy how Little Richard is quintessentially America. He’s religious, he’s gay, he survived Jim Crow, he was the architect of Rock N Roll, he’s literally The Godfather of all modern music after blues.

Could you imagine being Little Richard and experiencing his life. He broke thru the racist white southern rule for the black men. Losing you father over a peanut machine holding 50 cents. To having the Beatles want to meet you. Jimi Hendrix his guitar player. Billy Preston playing the organ for him at the age of 14. You just can't make this stuff up. Man, could this man tell a story. I could listen to his stories all day long.

I LOVEEEE when he says "I was black and gay, I wasn't no threat to no white man with the white women, they liked me!" And those words that will forever be engraved in my mind ... "I'm not conceited, I'm convinced!" God Bless such a happy, talented yet modest soul. We need more people like him in this world....just plain old happy all the time and sharing that beautiful joy.

This is the best Little Richard interview that I've seen. God bless him and his wonderful memory and plain-spoken, forthrightness. Tom Snyder could really bring the best out of folks.

8:31 Loved he corrected the dude. The Beetles toured with him. Never knew the Beetles stayed with him. Interesting career Little Richard had.

It's so refreshing to hear someone not be politically correct and say what he feels. Rest in peace, Little Richard.
