Ali Hamidi demonstrates how to catch crafty carp by using a twig to fish 'The Washing Line Method'.

A great method where-by your mainline is suspended above the water to give you a fantastic, covert presentation for your rig, that's ideal for tripping up particularly tricky to catch carp.

That bait reminds me of when i used to use the original A8. I loved it when it went white and sticky. Shame its not available anymore. What a fish catcher that was. Just had a spool of your 35lb coated braid delivered. Looking forward to putting it through its paces if they ever stop bloody spawning.

Why go to all the trouble to fish across with a fishing line if the other side is fishable, just go to that side and fish the same spot.
Pointless use of a great technique on a lake with no one else on it.
