HELP! My best friend was so convinced that his dryer isn’t drying his clothes and towels all the way and as soon as his housekeeper leaves he goes to his closet and grabs his socks, jeans, t-shirts and towels because he thinks they’re a little moist. I told him to used the “Timed Dry” setting where he can select the temperature & he supposedly does but continues to say things just aren’t getting completely dry. The dryer repair guy checked and couldn’t find anything wrong & his vent was clear of lint. So my friend went out and bought a new dryer. I told him to purchase a cheap one that doesn’t have very many features, but he didn’t and just bought a different brand (but mid-higher end). Guess what? The new dryer works exactly the same as his old dryer that isn’t broken. Moisture and temperature sensors are all working fine. I don’t know how to help him because it’s making his OCD worse because he doesn’t believe that the clothes are completely dry.
