If Kasich had been the Republican nominee Hillary might have actually had something to be afraid of.

Let the record show that John Kasich used the word "boondoggle" in a sentence.

Despite his disgusting eating habits, John Kasich was the Republican I supported the most in the 2016 election (and I'm from Texas). I couldn't stand Trump (and still don't), I didn't trust Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio was ok but I never felt 100% confident he would win, and I felt more sorry for Jeb than supported him. That said, John Kasich was a more moderate Republican, well experienced in politics, from a crucial swing state, not known for controversial statements/laws, and seemed overall likable as a candidate. If Trump hadn't run for President, I honestly think it would have come down to Cruz and Kasich (which it kind of did anyway), and I think Kasich would have been a good leader for the working/middle class Americans who had felt they were not doing so well under Barrack Obama.

Trump didn't create any amount of anger that people didn't already have!!

I used to respect Kasich and his positive campaign, but he needs to get on board and if he has problems with trump, help him. if he really cares about the future of the country, he should help Trump where he has deficiencies.

The electoral college may just vote in Kasich. And good for them; I'm progressive but I think he's decent and level-headed.

Solid dude. Was he not the guy that helped balance the U.S. Budget while he was in Congress? This guy can reach across the aisle and he has a good head on his shoulders, bottom line.

Kasich would have been the most sensible choice for republicans even though he is 50% wrong about the things he talks about. I mean even Trump asked him to be VP.

I love Kasich but I can’t agree with his last statement. Not when this country was completely built to be Europe 2.0.
