Tweezing isn't bad. Improperly tweezing IS! If you MUST tweeze, make sure you're removing the hair fully from the hair follicle and not pinching at the skin in the process.

Do you know how hard it is to let your facial hair grow out? 😢 I really hate tweezing but dam it’s embarrassing going out with dark facial hair.

My problem is digging for hairs just coming in. The feel of them is annoying and I can't help plucking them and I'm not satisfied until I get it

It’s definitely an obsession once I feel a hair I have to tweeze. I have tweezers in my car, on my nightstand, in my purse and work bag lol

Thank you for explaining the compulsion. My husband is always upset when he sees me tweezing so often. He’s even offered to pay for laser but I’m addicted to tweezing. My hirsutism is bad enough for me that I’m obsessing with the battle of feeling less feminine with my hairs that I don’t understand how important patience is.

Hello ladies, My advice is after waxing, always (morning and evening) hydrate your skin very well using a very thick cream (like the one from Nivea or similar) + shea butter. Also use a glycolic acid tonic (like the one from The Ordinary) in the evening before going to sleep, and do a peeling mask (like the charcoal one) at least twice a week in the area where you have hair. I assure you it makes a difference. Doing so has helped me fight ingrown hairs and dark spots. The skin must be soft and supple so that the hair can come out well without problems.

I broke down and went for laser hair removal. Works. For the gray and white hair I will have to do electrolysis but my foliculitis is nearly gone now

These videos are so important for other women to see. You're not alone and honestly it would probably be more strange if you didnt get chin hairs. We get our periods, carry children then get chin hairs. God must have been in a joking mood when he made us.

Lmfao yes it is definitely an impulse, I can’t help myself when I feel a hair I have to tweeze it or I’ll go crazy!! I love the informative narrating with the video.

Thanks to both of you for sharing something a lot of us ladies can relate to. I keep tweezers in my purse at all times. I don't want to tweezers, but... I do still wear my mask everywhere I go because I don't wax or remove my face issues on routine. The skin is better when I don't remove my issue. However, I really don't want it. I want to just get up and go.

It gets worse when you get older and your hair turns grey because it sticks out like a sore thumb

The silver lining of Covid were the masks. Since we had to be covered anyway I didn't tweeze any chin hairs to assess what I was REALLY dealing with (I used to get a hair here and there but since I simply would pull it immediately I never knew the real extent) well let me tell you I had a goatee after 6 months of not touching it. I'm 44 and grays starting, last thing I want in my old age is a beard, I RAN to the lazer and don't even think about those or most facial or public hair anymore.

I don't know your name so I shall simply call you Miss Adore. Dear Miss Adore, I'm a 54 year old woman and have dealt with hirsutism since puberty, I have been actually shaving like a guy every 2 to 3 days since my late teens. Until I saw this video I didn't even know that waxing might be an option. Thank you so much for giving such a detailed explanation of why I need to completely stop tweezing and look into wax.

I wish the clients would exfoliate their skin more often before they get the wax at least 24 hours in advance. It makes a huge difference.❤

Omg as a 31 yr old fine waxer and tweezer I enjoyed this and even you understanding how we feel about the stubbles! I would pay anyone extra or a nice tip for going in tweezing to make sure I’m straight ❤

When tweezing people just snatch the hairs and they're not supposed to. You have to gently pull them out and you would see a white bud on the end that came out. That's how you know you're tweezing correctly. I have 6 hairs under my chin that I tweeze and I think I just going to get laser removal for those 6 hairs. This could also be a health issue with their hormone level and thyroid levels.
