How to remove glovebox mk2 VW Jetta

I searched forums and websites and YouTube for probably close to 2 hours, sifting the internet sands to find out how to remove the glovebox from my 1990 Jetta. The car wasn't with me so I couldn't just put my Snap-on headlamp on, place my mechanic's foam on the ground, kneel down, turn the headlamp on, and pry down on the top plastic of the glovebox frame to see what was stopping it from sliding out. I've read numerous posts where people destroyed their glovebox because they couldn't figure out how to remove it. It took me 5 minutes. Remove all the visible screws. I apologize in advance for the dripping sarcasm, it's directed at myself as much as it's directed at anyone else. This vehicle has one of the easiest to remove gloveboxes I've dealt with.

Different to my euro one., no caps no felt lining. Seems to be bigger than the hole catching on left side with a lot of wiggling.
