Thanks, Natalie! As long as I’ve been sewing, and as many stitches as I’ve ripped, it’s always nice to see other tools and new techniques. ❤️

I have my seam ripper the other way up so that if you slip the hole you make is in the seam allowance not the front of the quilt. Must admit I love the Jenny Rip, very satisfying but probably not good for the material and keeping the squareness of your quilt. 😁

I've tried this so many times and I always land up cutting through my fabric. You make it seem so easy. I guess I need to practice on non-quilt pieces. 😁

OMG Thank you Natalie ... over the past decades I have always clipped every other thread in order to remove stitches. YOU have just saved me a ton of time. Never too late to learn. Thank you!

I love it! Recently ripped out star legs I didn't realize were upside down until they were bordered by other fabrics in a quilt top. Nothing like ripping in 3 directions just to get them out. Lol. In your next video maybe explain why there is a ball on the seam ripper and which direction it should be in while ripping. Ie up or down in the seam.

Great video and tips but one thing you didn't address was what is the little red ball on the tip of the ripper for, I thought it was a guide to run thru the underside of the seam so you don't rip the fabric but I noticed that you used it on the top and the bottom :D
