The 2020 Intel MacBook Air is a giant waste of money. Besides this tech running hotter than the sun due to their sad excuse for cooling system technology, this computer is incredibly slow and always loud due to the fan going full blast to try to keep the laptop cool. Today I change the paste and see if it makes a difference, which it doesn't. You CAN mod the heatsink with a copper shim to make it run much cooler though, but it wasn't something my customer was interested in doing.

Iirc the thermal pad does take some time to operate at peak capacity, so the more you use it the more efficient it becomes

.... My heart dropped when you said "...and a heavy dose of alcohol" as you rubbed a cloth across the screen. As a fellow tech, I know all to well what that does lol. We only clean macbook screens with plain water dampened rags since literally anything else destroys the anti-glare nano layer which creates permanent streaks. Your videos crack me up. LOVE IT!
