B&W CM9 VS Dynaudio Audience 62 speaker test
After the reviews from both the B&W CM9 and Dynaudio audience 62 the first VS test. My next and final video from these B&W CM9 will be the VS test against the Canton ergo R-CL

Subscribe on this channel to see many vintage reviews and tests like these. New on my channel is the testing of brand new Chinese amplifiers, like the Willsenton R8 tube ampiflier I have now on my testing table. In the future you will see many of those nowhere else tested amplifiers on this channel. Very good quality for a low price.....this is what this channel is about. Finding the best quality for the best price as possible. Vintage audio equipment is so popular these days that it's not cheap anymore and there seems to be no end in the ongoing price increase. Lucky for me I tested many vintage devices in the period these items where still cheap. I still score them but not as often as in the past. Vintage stereo(1970/1982) is now equal and in many cases more expensive as high end from 1980/1999. A marantz 2285b cost you today more as a accuphase e-205 what is the most cheapest accuphase you can buy today. If you know what sounds come from a accuphase e-205 you understand that the vintage prices are this expensive because of the smaller supply than demand, a very old economic fact. People just prefer vintage above high end these days, a hard fact because the second hand prices say it all.

I finally bought my dream speakers but that doesn't mean I will stop scoring them and put them on video for you. I am still curious how other, new and vintage speakers sound and for that reason I will not sell my canton R-CL's. I will keep them as the reference speakers in the VS test against the speakers I will score in the future.......scoring is more fun as buying in the shop. Scoring is buying cheap, play a while and resell it after you are played out for the same amount you bought them, in this way you keep playing with new toys without loosing to much. The moment you walk out that store with your new toys you already loose 30% I also understand people who always buy new because you have the latest model and there are enough products in the shops now which are worth buying new because of their low price / high quality match. Just find other youtube channels with trustworthy reviewers who review new items and don't make up your mind after one video ore a few written reviews.....don't order online but go to a shop and take your amplifier with you to test several speakers ore make a appointment and take your speakers with you to the shop if you are going to buy a new amplifier. Only if you are 100% convinced that what you going to order is from such a quality and price you can take the risk. There is plenty stuff out there, new in the shop worth buying because of a decent price/quality match, you just have to find it.....

I just bought a new television, My plan was a led projector from China with a price from 250 euro but I found a super Black Friday deal and bought myself a 55" smart led tv for only 349 euro!!!!. It is a Toshiba 55U2963DG and it is selling now by Otto

Absolutely superior Dynaudio for detail and dynamics. Listen to the video with good headphones or speakers and you can hear the difference very much. Dynaudio - B&w : 10-0

It is clear that these two are tuned differently, the midbass is more open o Dynaudio but the bass seems to go lower on B&W.

One must not ignore the speaker's compatibility with the room and its associated acoustics. There will be environments that suit one speaker better than the other.

Love the sound of Bower and Wilkins Speakers. I been using 603 and they are stellar. Is an older model call DM 603. Need to say i have been very happy. Bass response on the Bower's is just fabulous. Still need to add the dynaudio sounded very nice as well.

I like your AKAI Integrated amp. Even on my junky computer speakers I could hear the difference and what was I was expecting, Dyna too bright for me where the BW had much more warmth to the sound. Pat Metheny 1st tune you played.

The Dyns are louder but the sound is more full-bodied with the B&W. The CM9s are brighter in sound. They win.

The B&W seem better they have better detail but it's hard to tell how the bass is sounding

2 way v 3 way ? I always prefer 2 way for sound tracks, big difference here

It is all about taste. I upgraded my old 603's that are 2 way to the CM9's because I wanted some more bass when I listen to just L/R pure mode for music but I know many beleive 2way is better for music and I believe them but I have to go with what I like and they improved my sound in 7.3.4 Atmos as well when watchong movies.

Nice vid but it's not a fair comparison you should in opinion use the 122 or maybe the 72 from dynaudio, also just a comment the 62 weren't the cheapest that was the 42. I totally agree that the b&w in this comparison beats the hell out of the dynaudio but.. Compared to the 72 or 122 I will choose those dynaudios all day long

It's not just a sensitivity that's important! it's the impedance chart you need to look at, and how this matches with an amplifier you're using some amplifiers work better with certain impedance than others. How come you don't show the tube amp how you getting on with it should be broken in by now

First of all, need to sat that you the reviewer are very cool guy and i enjoyed your personality :) Second as a matter of fact I own a pair of Dynaudio Excite X38 with Musical Fidelity m6si with Inakustik LS-1204 Air's speaker cables.
I think too that B&W beat the Dynaudio Audience 62 in your very good test. I liked your switching between the speakers very much rather than most of the you tube tests when reviewer play a music few minutes then off the music and put on the other speakers. it is almost difficult to tell an honest and of course accurate opinions.
In the other hand, as you know better, setup for each of speakers is very important. Some amps matches with other speakers very differently and correctly. Right? And obviously the music itself. All of your musics was almost Blues, Rock/Jazz and I liked very much to hear for instance, a string instrument solo like violin or a piano or orchestral music or Modern classics, even avant garde jazz with silences within the music.
Anyway I appreciate for your very nice test and again cooling of yourself of course.
At the end I need to say I really love my setup too. Musical Fidelity has a history in matching with DynAudio and I really enjoy my musics on wonderful archive with the clarity and honesty and smooth punching of my system. they are very match with my musical taste and of course according to my budget on my system.
Thanks again bro.
Regards from Iran/Tehran.

Dynaudio is louder because the speakers are 4 ohms and the B&W is 8 ohms

The dynaudio to me has a hyped midrange which at first is desireable but leads to listenner fatigue For long listenning sessions the B&W are a better choice
