It's not capitalism
It's power and greed

All these people saying "why doesn't he give his money away then". He just donated 100 million dollars to help low income schools in Connecticut. I can never understand why some people are compelled to just say the first thing that comes to their mind. Dalio is a true leader.

Silly media. You mean corporatism and politics.

Andrew Yang 2020. He is 'only' current candidate truly addressing this issue. $15 hour minimum wage is a noble fight but way too little too late. Trickle up economy, fairly regulated capitalism

So Ray Dalio has $17 billion USD and complaining about the widening income gap, why don't he donate his money to clean up Skid Row or Tenderloin? Maybe people like him need to give away some of their share to improve the conditions.

capitalism isnt the problem, its that capitalism has been tainted and its become crony capitalism and corporatism due to an all- powerful government. a government that isnt supposed to have all that power in the first place

Is capitalism failing American citizens or are we not preparing American citizens to exploit capitalism for their personal success. Are we teaching people to become capitalists or to develop the skills the capitalists need to be successful, which will make the individual successful? I would submit that we have taught too many Americans to be poor and unsuccessful. Consider whole industries and governmental agencies exist to sustain the poor and unsuccessful. Perhaps instead of reforming capitalism, maybe we should reform our educational system to teach success.

the "existential threat" comes from irresponsible government spending and over regulation. clearly we need less government and more transparency into those who control large sectors of the markets. US businesses need to stay in the country and able to be competitive in a global economy.

1000-2000 universal income for 18 years old and older is necessary for someone for studio or small apartment rent monthly, plus work, maintain a even playing field in building up savings and have an American dream instead abandoning them with nothing but, debt and failure. We need to build large high rises for the poor, homeless, and foreign society to live in affordable rather than them living off the streets and business fronts littering, urinating, and, defecating near public parks and trails
