IF YOU’VE NOT SEEN THE FULL EPISODE……the grooms family clearly had a lot of money, big house, expensive cars, lived well etc! The brides family were a lot more modest! The grooms family could pay for their own flights & accommodation (and if memory serves me correct, the best men paid for themselves too)
The grooms attitude to the brides family was that they should get loans or credit cards to pay for themselves! It was an awkward episode!

How will these kids even stay in a marriage? They know the rules they take the money and they make no plans prior to even entering in the contest for the money.
