You would not believe the effect your videos have on us! We started watching your videos in 2018 I think. You were below 10k subscribers. I've watched most of them. Your Theodore Roosevelt trip got us interested in going to that park in 2020 and 2023. I would never have even put it on a list. Thanks so much for doing these and I hope you keep doing them. We went to most of the places in this video last week of August and we even ate at the Best restaurant we have ever went to Goat Locker!

I was so happy to see this new video! I watched some of your old videos just last night. I sure have missed them. Your videos are truly my favorite. Best wishes for your new home in Michigan!
I look forward to more new videos from you. Until then I'll watch your old ones. They're always enjoyable.

Randy,
What a treat to get a new adventure pop-up on my notifications. The greatest channel on YouTube by a mile <3 Thank you for sharing this adventure. A great mix of nature and history. The tannic acid in the water was mind-blowing. We would teach about tannic acid in the bark of redwood trees (it's what gives them the "red color). We would take a newly formed redwood cone (green in color), squeeze it a bit, then place it in a clear small container/vile and shake it up to get the tannic acid out and eventually turn the water a dark red. So, seeing how much tannic acid is in the water is the most impressive thing. Tannic acid also makes redwood trees fire-resistant, which I have shared before. So very cool.
j I hope the transition to Michigan has brought you and the family all the love and joy you so greatly deserve. Much love to you all <3

Excited to see you are back!!! Great video!!! It’s beautiful up there. I understand why you would move there!!! Hope all is well for your and your family. Pray all goes well for you and your family with the move and your next chapter in life. Been following you for about 5 years now. To be honest, your videos helped me get through the pandemic years. I always look forward to watching your videos on the weekends. Always enjoy the videos with your family. Really a big reason why I watch is because our family is also into going to National and State parks. By your sign off, I hope you are not going to be ending making videos. You and your family are an inspiration and make a positive difference in peoples lives. Thank you for sharing your experiences and hope to see more of your content in the future. God bless!

One more thing! I watched your farewell service. If we ever got out east, I said we need to visit his church. Well done message!! I don’t know your congregation, but I was tearing up listening to those giving their “speeches”. Wow!! You are SO loved!! Thank you for your ministry!! ❤️

It was so good to see this video with you and Kayla! Of course your more frequent trips are missed, but know you are loving your life in God’s Will. It was so good to follow your “lasts” at Grace…quite emotional and heartfelt. I’ll continue to check in on this channel and will be praying for you and your family. Take care always!😊

I have been here a few years ago… it’s a fun day. One of my good memories with my son, and my Dog who passed of cancer a year or so later. Been going to Michigan all my life… but hey I’m from Indiana. 😂 Michigan does great with their state parks. EDIT : Okay got to end of the video... you said you don't know what the future is for America's Parks... well don't stop this is my FIRST STOP anytime I want to look at anything for national parks. I remember watching your Wyoming videos with my father when he was in hospice and reminiscing of his favorite trips before passing. I listened to one of your sermons in which you said what you wanted your kids to say about you, when it was your time. As such, I spoke of my father, as you requested for you, because I knew that was what my father wanted. No one else mentioned my fathers faith when they spoke(I do think it was assumed). My father was in the choir at church, and before becoming a Dentist considered becoming a priest. I often go around chasing different hobbies and interest, but I always come back to America's Parks. You have an amazing voice from your channel and make a difference in the world. This is definitely something I constantly think about how I will capture with videos I make.

Randy,
As always, my wife and I love to watch your videos. We are planning a trip to the U.P. in the summer of 2026. I like to title our road trips and this one will be called "You and Me in the U.P.". Please continue to post videos of this area AND my offer of you to stay with us if you are ever in Tucson, AZ still stands. God Bless.
