In this video, we do the slim wallet showdown with the Bellroy Card Sleeve vs the Bellroy Slim Sleeve. I discovered the Bellroy Card Sleeve a few months ago and have absolutely loved it. As I prep for some upcoming travel which will require a few more cards than the Card Sleeve can accommodate, I'll be reviewing and comparing it against my latest EDC pick-up: the Bellroy Slim Sleeve wallet.

I believe that slim wallets are the best wallets because they eliminate annoying pocket-bulge, force us to be conscious about all the junk we might typically just shove in our wallets, and, even if you're the type of person who needs to carry tons of cards and cash, make a great primary holder for the very few most-commonly-used cards and a bit of cash.

There are many slim wallet options, but in this video, I break down the few that I have real life experience using for extended periods of time. The Bellroy Card Sleeve is my most recent slim wallet, having used it daily for the past 4 or 5 months (got in in Feb 2022 - and it's Jul 2022 at the time of recording this video)

The Herschel Charlie wallet has been my tried-tested-and-true workhorse slim wallet companion for over a decade, and it's something I can definitely put my name behind, in quality, functionality, aesthetics, and value.

But today, like I said, as I'm starting to plan for some upcoming travel, realized I needed another slim wallet that could accommodate a few more cards (like destination-country local transit card, hotel key card, and travel health insurance policy card, just to name a few), and so I decided to buy this Bellroy Slim Sleeve and give it a go.

I have a number of Bellroy products and just got the MIRUM edition card sleeve. It’s fantastic, slightly different in that there is no cash/card slot under the pull tab so it’s nice and sleek. New favourite for now, absolutely love it.

Bought a Bellroy Hide and seek low* back on May, As my country dominantly still uses cash, its perfect! The hide flap hides the how much really I'm carrying.

Plus the leather is aging beautifully, a good introduction to Bellroy

I've had my Bellroy Carryout for 7 years now, the insert fold wallet has been my everyday for most of that, lost it on Saturday and it was run over, the cards were totalled but wallet is still fine
