Cc @courtnwilliams - "You know life can really be “funny” sometimes. Before baby BAW, I’ve never “tried” to have a baby. Yes, I know 1+1=2 😂, but we never sat down and said let’s make a baby lol. I had never once known when I was ovulating, never tracked it, never anticipated if a cycle was coming or not, none of that. All 3 of my girls were surprises…🙃😂🤦🏽‍♀️. Then after thinking we were DONE, changing our minds, & feeling like maybe we could have just oneeee more we decided to go for it. Little did we know the road ahead.

We always joked and said all Bryan had to do was look at me and I became pregnant lol, considering I got pregnant just a few months after we got married then again when Channing was just 13 months old. I was actually excited to “try” for once lol & naively thought all we had to do was track ovulation and then bam you’re pregnant. That definitely wasn’t the case this go round.

After months of trying we finally got a positive test, just to go to the doctor for my confirmation appt weeks later to find out nothing was developing 😢. Weeks later had to have a D&C, then waited weeks for my body to reset, & had to decide if we wanted to give it another try. It was definitely one of the toughest things I’ve gone through. I had moments of thinking wow, really God? The ONE time I actually tried, but I can 100% say going through that changed me, my husband, and even our marriage for the better. Now here we are 💙.

I thank God for the rainbow after the storm! And my heart is with anyone that’s experienced a loss, dealing with infertility, or just wondering when it’ll happen for you. It’s not easy but I pray you never lose hope and trust in God’s perfect timing!
