Discovery of Mass Reveals Rare Liver Cancer in Toddler

When she was 2 years old, Aubrey’s pediatrician discovered a mass on her liver and was referred to Children’s. Tests revealed that she had hepatoblastoma, a rare childhood liver cancer. After a surgery that removed 50-percent of her liver and gallbladder, as well as six rounds of chemotherapy, Aubrey’s cancer is in remission and today she is a sassy toddler who loves to draw, paint and boss around her older siblings.
