And only a couple hundred drink human blood. Only females bite. That’s because they need a tasty blood meal before they can lay their eggs.

thank god its about to be autumn. i used to get bitten by mosquitos alot when i was a kid, now knowing more about the diseases they carry, the fact that i don't even know my blood type so i dont know whether or not to be overly careful, etc. it makes me wish summer and spring didnt exist
