In this video Steve Nallon is heard with other voice artists on SPITTING IMAGE in a very a rare behind the scenes recording of the series.

SPITTING IMAGE was an award winning British television satirical puppet show which was hugely popular during the Thatcher era of the 1980s. The puppets, caricaturing public figures, were designed by Peter Fluck and Roger Law (Fluck and Law), two illustrators and sculptors who had previously worked mostly for print. John Lloyd, producer of NOT THE NINE O'CLOCK NEWS and BLACKADDER, was the show's founding comedy producer. The show ran from 1984 to 1994 for over 18 series and was nominated during its run for 10 BAFTA Television Awards, and won two Emmy Awards in 1985 and 1986 in the Popular Arts Category.

The main long serving voice actors were Chris Barrie, Jon Glover, Steve Nallon, John Thomson, Harry Enfield, Alistair McGowan, Hugh Dennis, Enn Reitel, Kate Robbins and Steve Coogan. The puppeteers included Anthony Asbury, Nigel Plaskitt, Simon Buckley, Don Austen, Michael Bayliss, Richard Coombs, Kevin Bradshaw (Kaefan Shaw), Alistair Fullarton, Louise Gold, Barnaby Harrison, Brian Herring, Patrick Comerford, Sue Dacre, Phil Eason, Mark Jefferis, William Todd Jones, Terry Lee Wright, Gillie Robic, Martin P. Robinson, Richard Robinson, Tim Rose, John Thirtle, Robert Tygner, Francis Wright and Steve Nallon.
