On Friday, March 17 at 7:38 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched SES-18 and SES-19 to a geosynchronous transfer orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

This was the sixth launch and landing of this booster, which previously supported the launch CRS-24, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13F, OneWeb 1, and two Starlink missions.

I've followed America's space missions since before Mercury. The recovery and landing of the main engine stage on a moving barge in the ocean is one of the most amazing space feats I've seen. I never get tired of it.

180 recoveries and they still say we're going to attempt. I know why, I get it but also after so many? Either way the reliability of the falcon 9 is just amazing. What a time to be alive. First real steps to make, hopefully, a great space industry for all mankind.

I've watched well over 100 of these and still never fail to get this warmth and joy every time the 1st stage lands. Watching Star Trek growing up, this feels like we're finally on a path towards being multiplanetary within my lifespan. Amazing work and well done to everyone involved!

I hear 1 person there as happy as I am every time I see a liftoff.
Even more excited with every landing, Epic.
