At the end he misspeaks - he says we are dividing the false positives by the total number of negative RESULTS. What we're actually doing is dividing the false positives by the total ACTUAL NEGATIVE CASES. i.e. out of 100 people who are in reality NOT SICK, how many will be told by this test that they ARE?
