This video is Part 2 of "How to Pronounce 80 Contractions". I give the British pronunciations of 40 of the most common contractions in modern-day English. Here I only look at contractions with apostrophes. I am going to look at contractions such as coulda, shoulda and gonna in another video.

NOTE: "We're" is also pronounced /wɪə/ in British pronunciation. The pronunciation I give (/weə/) is common in fast speech.

Thank you very much. It is not a very easy task when it comes to listening the full sentences. It will demand great attention and try to recall from memory what is left with us from this explanation.

Contractions (56) weren't and (74) won't sound very similar : am I right or is there any subtle difference I should hear ?
(Thanks Max for this video)
