Tarihi bir yerleşim olan bölge, şehrin turistik ilçelerindeki deniz turizmine farklı bir alternatiftir. Antalya Yat Limanı’ndan başlayarak doğu yönüne doğru uzanan ve yüksek surlarla çevrili olan kent merkezindeki bu bölge, Antalya’nın ilk yerleşim yeridir ve tarihi M.Ö. 4.yüzyıla kadar uzanmaktadır.
