A presentation by Annika Peter (Faculty @ Ohio Stat University and Postdoc Fellow @ UC Irvine) on self-interacting dark matter (SIDM). What (particle) physics corresponds to SIDM with ~1cm^2/g cross-section, and the current constraints on such SIDM physics.

This presentation was the first of the Merging Cluster Collaboration (MCC) All-hands Meeting, September 2012. There were eight presentations in total. The format of the presentation was casual informative, and presented to 10 MCC members.
