This scene made me wish I could slap her sisters. They kept attacking her for her past mistakes, and wouldn't accept that she's an amazing person. And Nancy saying that Amelia got to where she is because of Derek was messed up. She worked hard to get where she is at, and struggled a lot when Derek died. She didn't have her family, besides Meredith, to lean on for support.

I hate how they're all just slugging wine down in front of her while bringing up everything she did in her past. Like they're goading her, "give in, get drunk, prove us exactly right about you". I think they can see that she's changed but they don't like the idea that their screw-up little sister could ever amount to anything, let alone being a world class neurosurgeon, so they have to try and make her fall of the wagon to make sure they feel superior. What hateful wenches, especially Kathleen.

I only now noticed this, and I've probably watched this scene a million times. Around the 20 second mark when Link sits back down at the table he reaches for the glass and the bottle of wine. Then he eyes Amelia's water glass and puts down the bottle. I love this man even more now, and I'm so happy she ended up with him!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Now I know why Derek hated when his mean sisters came to visit. Wow, why would I ever wanna recover from my transgressions if it will never be good enough for the Sheppard clan. This is not okay to make someone feel like that and humiliate them in front of their family

Amelia's REAL sisters are Mer, Addison, Maggie and Liz. Because Liz is nice and has her own family.

The fact that her family is drinking wine while talking about her sobriety just shows that her family doesn't care at all. Amelia deserves the world after all she has been through and all she has overcome.

It is disrespectful and for one thing Derek actually looked up to Amelia and Derek may have given her the job but she filled those shoes till it overflowed.

I hate the whole “you never tell me anything”. Do you expect your child to have a relationship with you when you sit by and do nothing but watch as the rest of the family make digs at her? I’m glad Amelia was able to find a loving family in Meredith, Maggie, and Link because she sure as hell didn’t have that with her own family.
