I used the smoothest eye bolts of an appropriate size I could find as lollipops on my 1200 Sportster with aftermarket pipes. They worked pretty good without blocking the airflow too much.

I agree with your assessment of the mufflers and dont think the decel popping is right and i will probably go with a power commander k to balance the fuel air mixture. regards Phil

EPA and other requirements make the bike lean, and that is why there is some throttle lag. Get a tune, you will see a huge improvement (that is what I did, I also have rinehart slip-on's). Also, some gurgle and pops will still occur, it is part of the nature of the rinehart, it is completely normal, even according to Lloyd'z (where I did my tune).

Paul l solved a lot of my problems with a 90 degree air pod and learning that air temperature has different densities. Personally dyno tuning can have its own set of problems and it isn’t without its risks and continuing suggestions of further improvements. Modifications become a bottomless pit when bitten by the bug and how we all know that.👍

Didn't you wrap the baffles in those aswell Paul?
Im trying to decide on slip ons for mine. Would you say they were obnoxiously loud... before wrapping them?

Lloyds tunes don't work on the aussie ecms apparently it's a different system to unlock the ecm indian are protecting themselves from aftermarket tuners

Thanks again, home tuning doesnt appeal to me. Id rather have someone retune/remap to get the running right.
If the Slipons are too loud have you had any feed back from viewers on quieter options?
