This is much nicer than the original George Barris car on TV. George had bondo so thick hand shaping the car that we blew out 2 floor jacks trying to replace the trans. Borrowed one from the local International Truck Center.
Most of the dash and interior was hand painted to look like gauges and switches. The propane in the trunk was hand lit between takes. It was still effing Cool though. It was a Lincoln convertible originally. Almost 50yrs ago. Good times
