Apple's Magic Mouse having the charger underneath it (instead of logically the front or at least the back) was the biggest bs I've ever seen.
Edit: I worked for them and get the "aesthetic" angle a bit, but it's very clear they just want you to own a second mouse, just in case. Few things were as frustrating as finding out the mouse is discharged and then having to sit around 15 mins to at least charge it for the day...

As much as I agree with the frustration, I feel like it's getting better now that symmetrical USB-C ports are becoming commonplace. The cable can be used in either direction and the connector inserts on both sides.

The video game Metal Gear Rising: Revengance makes a joke about USBa. During one mission you have to pilot a Dwarf Gecko which is basically a bowling ball with 3 arms. As the Dwarf Gecko you have to stealth your way through a warehouse to put a thumb drive in to a mainframe to steal some data. When you get through the warehouse the Dwarf Gecko rolls up to the computer, puts the drive in, it bonks off the robot turns it around, it bonks of again, turns it around again and then it gets it in. The game came out in 2013 and it takes place in the 2020's.
