I am glad I found this. My tripod ring was so tight I did not know it turns. I had to use a rubber strap wrench to break the ring free, but that was no great problem. Keep up the good work.

Beware if you fly to Germany. When leaving Germany, do NOT keep the selfie stick in your hand luggage.
This weekend I almost got arrested at Berlin airport when I had the original selfie stick in my backpack.
The police was about to arrest me because they were convinced that I was carrying a forbidden telescopic baton. The selfie stick can be opened in exactly the same way as a baton. It took more than 20 minutes and a lot of convincing until I was allowed to go back to check in my cabin luggage. I could just avoid being arrested.
