I might be the only person that likes MJPEG. lol The footage is just so clean. It might be a problem if you're doing like hours and hours of footage but I don't do anything like that these days. Even if they had another option I would still choose MJPEG. I do have to use 8TB hard drives though.

I am buying this camera for stills. I am not worried about video. On every DSLR I have owned and the ones that can do video, I have never used the feature.

It seems all you need is, all the features built-in u ever wanted in one camera; but.... at that low cost. And I believe you'll never find the one unless you spend more money for it.

The GH5 is one week to be released on the market officially . Do you think, there will still be a need for 5DmkIV when the GH5 get in our hands which is more powerful & less expensive ? & In case of a magic lantern to break the MJPEG jail of 5DmkIV do u think it will be an excellent contender to the GH5 ?

I'm just wondering. It's will be a real C-log whis minimal iso 800 and camera processing or it will be just like custom picture profile whis no dynamic range advantage? Like Canon likes to make usually ;-)

Canon will never let us out of mjpeg jail,   They are going to loose the consumer camera division to Panasonic and Sony .  Canon is ok with this.
