People underestimate the worth of power to weight.
Many modern cars have good HP potential, but they weigh 14-1500 kilos.

So in this instance the Corsa D has 325 BHP at around 1225 kilos so that 265ish BHP per tonne.
The S3 has 370 BHP at around 1500 kilos which is around 246 BHP per tonne.

And you can see the evidence of that here and how it actually translates in the real world as its close at the start with the Corsa looking like it has the 20 HP advantage it has, and as the speed increases, the value of that extra HP per tonne results in a bigger gap.

A lot of these 2.0 TFSI cars are limited to about 370hp without spending SERIOUS MONEY on getting them forged.

Mondjuk súlyban is az Opel a nyerő, alapból kètkerèkmeghajtás... De ha ez a Corsa kap egy defektet 200 felett, akkor úgy osszegyűrődik, mint egy konzervdoboz. Inkább az S3.
