Note that this list does not include any trades from Wandering traders, as those scammers deserve a list of their own!

Also note that to fairly compare these trades, we will only be looking at the default prices as seen on Java Edition; so we will not be accounting for inflated trade prices, the Hero of the Village effect or cured Zombified Villagers.

What about the black Smith's trade, 1 diamond for one emerald, it's gotta be the most dumb trade I have ever seen and it's even worse if you are low on diamonds. Either way I can't imagine anyone trading there diamonds for some emeralds they could easily get from a farmer.

Worst ones in my opinion: Diamond to Emerald, 20 Emeralds to Name Tag (I get those all the time from fishing, and guess how many times I have actually used them... None!), 6 Fish and Emerald to 6 Cooked Fish (Seriously, a single piece of Coal will smelt more fish than that trade).

I hate the 4 raw rabbit for 1 emerald Trade

32 sticks for a emerald. 11 glasspains for a emerald. If you are in a dessert or Forrest you can exploit those trades hard. And they only get better. If you have hero of the village then when you buy diamond armor/tools the the highest trade is 5 emeralds for a enchanted diamond chest plat. Yes some villager trades suck but thats the thing with them. You are willing to do those prices if you have stacks of emeralds. And you can even get some unceaftable items like nametags, saddle, and bottles o' enchanting. And librarians can sell you enchantment books (prot 4) (sharpness 5) (mending) and basically everything enchantment ever except for soul speed.
But the best part is curing a zombie villager and making him a fletcher. Omg 1 stick for an emerald.
