One of the best visual walkthroughs I've seen on phase synchronization metric calculation methods. Radial plots help.

Your video is well-designed and easy to follow. Thank you so much!

Great video(s)! One thing confuses me:
Do the t and the n refer to different things in the formulae?
- for ITPC, t=1 means trial 1, and you average across n trials [all for a given time-point, i.e. trials have to be time-locked to some event]?
- for ISPC, t=1 means time-point 1, and you average across n time-points?

Hi Mike and all! Thank you for your videos and books, which are all incredibly helpful. If we are trying to calculate average coherence (or ISPC) across a band/range of frequencies, is the correct protocol to calculate coherence across "individual" frequencies and average them? Or is there a more efficient way to avoid repeating the calculation-- ex. using the filter-Hilbert method to bandpass the signal into your range of interest, getting phase time series for each filtered signal from the Hilbert transform, and calculating coherence using the phase differences between those?
Thank you!

When I read the content of your book, I can understand these concepts at that time. but after a period of time, when my academic advisor asked me, I still forget the specific content. I have a mass of knowledge in my head, but it’s hard for me to store it in an organized way
. Do you have any suggestions?
