Its a nice place because of politics. No 'soft on crime' crap. Police and first responders are respected here.

I work in the walker area in prescott, cleaning for the mountain people! People live all over in those mountains and there are now mining operations going on again. The walker community is great. Personally, i live off montezuma. One of the best things prescott does is their veterans day parade. Everyone gets gussied up, including the veterans, and comes down to the square for community love. The historical preservation committee in prescott works so hard to make sure we keep these buildings as authentic in its historic significance as possible. Renovations on any historic building must be approved by the city first. They take it very seriously.

24:30 you can see my food truck in the background! Gibby’s Road House, parked at Founding Fathers Collective every weekend!

I reside in Prescott. Whiskey Row has a nice vibe. You can even walk around with your family. Very good Law Enforcement presence. Prescott leans conservative, even though some locals say it’s 50 percent liberal. Appears to have a good percentage of retired folks. Not perfect, but where is? Parking downtown can be a little challenging, especially on the weekends. Weekends can be busy as many folks from Phoenix come to visit. Prescott is at a higher elevation and is noticeably cooler. Sometimes, it gets snow in the winter. We lived at another higher elevation residence & got slammed with snow. But, about a mile down the road (lower elevation) there was very little snow. Prescott puts on a nice rodeo, if that’s your thing. Some good history of the Old West here.

Born and raised in So Cal moved to Prescott in the mid 90’s we loved it there had a great view of Thumb Butte out of our kitchen window. My wife’s dad had heart surgery unfortunately he had an allergic reaction to one of the medications an ended up passing away we moved back to be near her mother. Preskitt was affordable back then. Anytime we had visitors had to take them to Jerome great time been back a few times since to hang out in whiskey row!! The Hawsayampa (spelling) inn was a great place to stay with all the rooms differently decorated. We lived off of white spur on Tanglewood Skull valley was kinda cool ! Great video even though it’s been over 25 years since living there!🇺🇸🗽🎉🎊

i used to work at a yogurt shop downtown and one time i went into this side door that was locked but somehow we had entrance and it was like going back in time hundreds of years. there was a skylight and multiple doors that lead to rooms that were for a business. untouched. someone was using it for storage but it was so cool. i also hear there are underground tunnels downtown but never saw them

If you are a dog, you will have it made in Prescott. Downtown belongs to animal lovers. Bikes and Pedestrians, not so much.

The Movie Billy Jack was made in the Prescott area, and a famous part was filmed right there outside the courthouse.

I think it's the nicest city to live in the whole Southwest. Love it here.

Great video! You both seem awesome 👌

It's cool to hear Ron say he went to school for Radiology at 40. I'm 41, about to move to Prescott and I'm checking out the Radiology tech program there. :) I love living life! I have traveled lots and lived many places but I'm ready to make some money and settle a bit :)

You both seem wise! 🎉🎉

Thanks for your videos. Being an Arizona native, I love the little Arizona towns you've done. Have to agree with a comment that I'd prefer to view the actual town while listening to the conversation. You passed up lots of great town gems while the camera on you & Ron. Love my Preskit... been here 27 years now, both my adult boys born here & hope to stay the rest of my life. I totally agree, the prices to live here have become unacceptable. Our home value has gone up 30% in the 8 years we've had it.

Hope you come back to our town again, video in summer or fall, trees are beautiful. Hit up Mt. Vernon on Halloween, you will be shocked!!

Californians did bring money but they drove the housing markets way up. Makes it hard for locals to buy or even move.
