When you are boogying on down to Powder Town, the last thing you want to be thinking about is the weather. That's why Patagonia made sure to include a killer insulated shell jacket in their new all-mountain snow lineup. The Insulated Powder Town Jacket is a well insulated ski jacket that protects you from the elements just as much as it keeps you warm. Patagonia rigorously tests the fabrics to their aptly named H2No standards, so you can trust the gear to keep you dry. A healthy amount of Thermogreen insulation in the body and sleeves keeps your body warm and feeling fresh to ski all day long. Great for colder climates, or if you just prefer an extra layer of warmth built into your shell, the Insulated Powder Town Jacket was designed to effortlessly help you navigate stormy weather. Now, instead of thinking about how chilly you are or that jacket not holding up to the snow as well as you want, you can focus on that next best turn in Powder Town. Looking for something a little less warm? Check out the regular Powder Town Jacket.

Thanks for this review. Was about to buy this. Have the chronic 101s too. Thought the colours were closer 😬

I’m 5’8” and 165. Noticed a couple sights that said size down, but you mentioned you’re 5’7”, 160+ and were wearing a medium. Jacket didn’t look big on you, Did it feel big, did you try a small as well? Would you recommend medium? Also, you mentioned does well in a little bit of wind. Have you tried it on much windier days (thinking Breck/peaks). Have a good shell, but looking to complement it with an insulated go to. Also for reference, looks like you had baker bib, was that a medium/short? Thanks!!

Thanks for the review. Would you use this jacket as a stand alone piece for casual wear? I'm wandering if it's warm enough to use with a base layer standing in the cold between 0 and -10 C. Thanks
