The lady is right when she said an African man is a polygamous man. They have these many children, many wives, then sink the country in deep poverty, then wishing that one of these many children that hasn't been cared for will one day have millions to care for a father and a mother who has created the poverty in the first place. A good man level an inheritance for their children's children. Very sad!

Polygamy is never a problem. Poverty and jealousy is. Deal with those two. Educate and empower women- let them be in monogamous or polygamous relationships as human beings and no pests. The latter is what is breeding jealousy even in monogamous relationships.

This discussion is so deep. As a society, we are in constant struggle because we do not want to allow nature takes it course. Otherwise, things would have been smoother.

I agree.. our cultures including Christianity has been broken and changed to fit a certain narrative. Unfortunately the narrative has been embraced and has not worked and not working. Divorce has become the order of the day almost 60%. It's important to go back to the roots and rethink how we face life..

Good discussion

You can’t solve one problem by creating another one. Polygamy is motivated by lust and lust can NEVER be satisfied. If we assume that Polygamy is allowed, how many wives are enough? Shouldn't women also be allowed to have multiple husbands also? The whole idea doesn't make sense

Why are they so many divorces now as compared to many years ago. Ofcoz most people you will say nowadays women are empowered but the truth and reality of life is in Africa polygamy will save a lot of marriages if it's taken into practice just like old times . After all Most women who divorce their men end up dating married men out there so what's the point of divorcing your own man to date another married men after divorce? What's the point of divorcing your own men to become a side chick of another married men?
