This great song was written and released in 1973 by singer Ann Peebles, who co-wrote it with her husband Don Bryant and radio announcer Bernie Miller. This attitude-infused bluesy soul staple has been recorded by over 70 different artists since then.

Recorded in home studio during Covid-19 self-isolation period. Since my band practices have been put on the back burner, this is how I've been keeping up my vocal chops and staying active musically. My purpose is to keep these as a reminder of a time in our history where people all over the world world were physically cut off from one another, and our lives were drastically altered. These videos are my way of reaching out through music as a way of comfort, connection, and spreading good vibes. See you on the other side soon!
