I have a friend that had restored 4 hemis...all of them in went in one car.
It's now in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. I kept a couple of the parts for posterity. That car I called goldenrod.

I'm mostly a Ford guy, thanks to my grand-dad, but in the late 50s through early 70s I'm not real picky on brand, aslong as its American muscle. All three major maker companies had some awesome rides, especially in the late 60s. Even their high end stock rides with the big blocks were awesome. but they were so easy to throw a bigger engine and beef up the tranny and rear end gears to make a monster with, if you had the know how and money.
heck, even my 68 Belair with a I6 250 2sp w/posi could hit triple digits if you manually worked the 2 speed auto just right.
