Danfoss Maneurop Cold room running

Fitted a second hand unit on the walk in cold room and run it up.

I have recommended the get the oil changed in the compressor asap as it become dirty after a few hour run time, i suspect this is from the failed compressor and the fact the pipes had been left open...

Looks like you were blessed with some nice weather :) Looks good, wouldn't be surprised if the lines were full of wasps at this time of year! Compressor deffo needs seeing to with the 9-inch!

Thanks, i don't mind second hand stuff, it can be more interesting, so long as i still earn enough doing them.
I kept it on R22 as this unit was about half the duty of the one that was too big.

I kept it on R22 as the new unit was half the duty of the old one so i was less concerned about it short cycling.
Plus i remembered these units don't run well on R134a as they can wax the tev/txv.

I did wonder if i would be able to get to the site as there are a lot of overhanging trees on the way there but luckily there was only one down and i could get round it. If its dry on the weekend i'll cut it open and see the damage!

I had the pressure switch wired wrong! Its got a common, a normally closed, and normally open connections. Think i had it common/no, then no/nc and finally got it wired properly!
The third connection can be wired to a pressure switch trip alarm or similar if needed.
