I like Ross, he's good for the sport. The team broke a clear rule everyone was made aware of in the preseason. Hence the penalty, , , , as long as "those type" of penalties are dispatched equally among any team so be it.

It’s a clear cut rule with built in tolerance. That tolerance was broken unfortunately. I stand by NASCAR’s decision.

Glad that Nascar is keeping with the rule, however... it sucks that it happened to Ross Chastain.

If he passed pre race inspection then failed post race inspection doesn’t that mean something happened during the race like damage??

I'm just glad they actually went through with it. Will it happen in cup series? Kevin Harvick would have had 3 wins taken away last year under these rules. Stay tuned to see if rules will be applied equally...especially in the playoffs.

Nascar made the right decision the car went straight into post race inspection...it failed...take the win away then if they want to appeal now look at race footage and collect Data and make the final decision.

Why did it pass pre-race? What happened between pre and post-race? Not sure what adjustments could be made during race to lower the front of the truck?

2 inches or so of tolerance, how high do the trucks ride?

I love Ross. This sucks. But rules are what they are 😪

NASCAR has to many rules and it is hurting the sport. Yes, they need rules. My point, Look at the ratings and attendance. I think the fans are walking away. I've been slammed for saying this. NASCAR needs to wake up! Too many rules, taking too many adjustments out of control of the crew chiefs. Yes, Pre-race needs to be tough!

I want to know what damage they talking about I didn't notice any damages on Ross truck

They wouldn't do it to a big team.

Was this a suspension measurement or body measurement? Or a combination of both

This is why NASCAR 's ratings are going down by the minute.

Update. The team just hired Gloria allred for the appeal process.

When was the last time NASCAR ever ruled in favor for a team when it appealed one of Nascars penalties? That being said the team is just wasting it time with an appeal.

Why penalize only the winner? What if everybody had it too low? You would fall all the way to the back if you had the correct ride height. The winner will always get penalized.

HOW CAN YOU BE TO LOW IF YOUR OFF THE TRACK

NASCAR are clueless. How does someone pass pre race but fail post race. Good one NASCAR, that's just stupidity
