My biggest recommendation (based on I still play with GS450's) is get you an aftermarket oil cooler kit - throw away the cheap cooler rails that come with it and use an oil cooler from a 1400 Intruder (NAPA or any hydraulic place will make you the lines to join to the oil cooler adapter plate that came with the aftermarket cooler kit (and is really all you need from the kit)) Makes the engine last longer and delivers 3 to 8 extra mpg because it runs that much cooler

Is a 1964 YAMAHA YDS3 250 worth $350? It looks like a pretty cool old bike. Might be worth restoring. I checked out some pictures and they really look slick when they were new.

odd comment from a republican about how ford still makes cars in america. i'm not sure what that has to do with capitalism or the free market (does ford outsource any of its products, parts etc...just asking. i know harley does). would you prefer some kind of law forcing companies to build products in america, or would you let the free market decide how best to turn a profit (outsourcing, building plants in cheap labor markets like thailand etc)? we lost our industries decades ago...

I'd rather the government stayed out of business and let the market decide.... Yeah - Ford brings in a lot of foriegn parts... but they are mostly US made
