You can see her look around in the foliage, because she trusted her soldiers so much that she thought they had seen the enemy.

It's a good thing we were wearing helmets because none of us could bare to look at her

In one of the novels, it expands on her execution a bit more.
Commander Bly raised his rifle and pointed it at Ayla, she noticed and looked around asking "Do you see an enemy somewhere?" Bly coldly and sharply answered "No"

Also because she looked in front because she thought she did not see the enemy

It’s even more brutal because she notices them readying their rifles and looks forward for a threat, exposing her back to them, certain that they would never turn on her. She could’ve defended herself (she still would’ve lost, but she could’ve prolonged her death), but she didn’t even consider the possibility that her troopers were aiming at her.

Bly and the 327 owed their lives to her. They often fought in the most harsh environments like Felucia which was teeming with predators, biological hazards, and extreme heat and humidity.
Aayla Secura's quick thinking and leadership kept them alive throughout so many missions.
They wanted to make sure her death was as quick as they could make it.

I think the new cannon is similar. No clone can resist the inhibitor chips, so like Rex warning Ashoka, Bly knew he couldn’t resist his command, so he chose to ensure she died quickly because of how much he loved her

So they ended her life out of love and respect that's morbidly sweet.

As you watch order 66 you realize that clones concentrated their fire on the center of the chess of a Jedi I don’t remember who said that, but I realize that. It’s like they got amplified the more effective.

Ki-Adi-Mundi: 'So I was loved?'

Becara: 'No, Order 66 just happened to come through after we were all done firing.'

That thumbnail was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one

The real problem is that this is literally her only scene outside of the cartoons

thats actually true because in battlefront II game the clones states ''secura congratulated us she said we were the bravest men she ever seen! ... its was good we were wearing masks.. because none of us dared to look her in the eyes!

I’m just saying, Plo-Koon could’ve overridden his clones’ Order 66 if he hadn’t been in a ship alone at the time.

true as we saw with Bilaba she got shot damn near a dozen times before dying. During bad batch she got shot 3 or 4 times before Caleb even noticed and was rushed towards her

I mean, if you tell me I have to have a gun fight with a space wizard; I'd dump the mag too.

You could say she took the wrong kind of Backshots

All those separatist walkers and ground forces nobody talks about what the battledroids would have thought about seeing the clones turn on the jedi then attacking the droids again. Surely that would have even confused the smarter tactical droids.
