How To Set Up Feit Wifi Smart Light Bulb

In this video we teach you how to set up your Feit Wifi Smart Light Bulb. The Feit Wifi Smart Light Bulbs allow you to control your light bulbs from your phone. They also work with Google Home and Alexa voice assistants meaning that you can control them with your voice.

The model shown in the video can be turned on an off but you can also adjust the lighting colors with a full color pallet to choose from and custom tune.

I picked up the Feit Wifi Smart Light bulbs at Costco but they are also available on Amazon.

How To Set Up Feit Wifi Smart Light Blubs
1. Download the Feit App
2. Create a username and password and login.
3. Turn off the power to the existing light bulb and screw in new light bulb and turn the power on.
4. Follow the instructions on the Feit App to connect your Feit Wifi Smart Iight Bulbs to for control from your phone.

So frustrated with Feit. Trying to connect 4 lights and the first 3 worked and the 4th will not connect in EZ or AP mode. The light will flash in pairing mode and when i start the process it turns to solid light after 5 seconds like it is supposed to but then it will not progress past the first step of the process and fails when the timer runs out.

Too much of a headache too many issues getting those up definitely not worth the money or effort, reinvented the light bulb and what was simple difficult 🤦‍♂️

A common reason why you can't connect this POS to your router is because it only works at 2.4GHz. Most routers are 5/2.4GHz automatically selecting frequency and have the same SSID names for both. Every other device in your house has no problem with SSID and connects to whatever frequency they work on. Not so with Feit. It won't connect to the router unless you set a unique SSID for 2.4GHz and select it when adding a new device, and if you do that every other device in your home using 2.4GHz will need to be reinstalled. Really dvmb design.
