Houston mother, family kicked off Spirit flight

A Houston woman says she, her baby and her elderly parents were kicked off a Spirit Airlines flight because her 2 year old son was crying.

I don't know who she was listening to, but I clearly heard the guy tell her why she was kicked off the plane.

She wasn't told to leave because of her breastfeeding. She didn't comply with the crews rules. You never hold up an entire plane for even "a few minutes". She's wrong.

Holding up the flight because she's breastfeeding her special child. She was making trouble before the plane even took off! The crew made the right decision.

Got kicked off a spirit flight today. I have a lap band and the food I got from McDonald’s at the airport was rather dry and got a stuck. Security said I threw up and was sick so I couldn’t fly. I explained the lap band, and told them I felt the block was cleared. When he called the nurse he used the term “vomit”. It wasn’t vomit, I wasn’t sick. And here I sit for 9 hours waiting for the next flight🤬😡

It's the lady fault....feed him before or during boarding...not while they need to close the doors...

Similar story to what happened to me. A mother and her child left a spirit airlines flight from Detroit to Houston after the plane we were on was on the runway waiting to take off. The mother's child was running around the waiting area at the gate then crying, and screaming while on the plane. The plane had to go back to the gate to let them off.

You were asked to stop breastfeeding and you asked for a few minutes. A plane full of paying passengers aren't obilgated to work around your personal schedule. They too may have had connecting flights which they might miss because of YOUR selfish behavior. You did not comply with crew instructions, which were to put your son in a seat. IMMEDIATELY. Not when you were finished breastfeeding.

She never got an answer because she wouldn't shut her yap long enough to let any of the security get more than 3 words out of their mouth before she talked over them.

On a chinese news channel, they said that this was the flight was already delayed for hours before any of this happened. The mother and the son was on the plane for hours until the baby started to get hungry. That’s when he started crying. So apparently it is the airlines fault because the plane was delayed. She asked for a couple minutes to feed her baby because he was hungry. If they let her feed the baby, he wouldve stopped crying. However she was asked to get off the plane. She refused and the airline asked EVERYONE to get off the plane and come back in. They stopped her before letting her on the plane which is why her video showed the airline stopping her BEFORE she boarded. I am not saying this information is right or anything however these are two very different stories.

I feel sorry that this happened but people have to respect the flight crew instructions.

Spirit Airlines and the passengers thank you for not flying with them. She's lucky she wasn't cited for heckling the police
