Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy will face a confidence vote on June 1.

This vote was called by the opposition Spanish Socialist party (PSOE) after members of Rajoy’s party were convicted of operating a slush fund.

The case relates to the use of the fund in the early 1990’s-2000’s to illegally finance campaigns.

Rajoy himself was not accused but the court said his testimony “was not credible”.

The PSOE is now asking legislators to vote Rajoy out of office.

Rajoy denies any wrongdoings.

The court said his "testimony was not credible". Those are weasel words for he lied under oath to the court and he lied under oath to the people of Spain.

"Testimony not credible", said the judge.
It means there is no evidence to convict Rajoy but he is a liar
and at best an enabler of corruption. (At worst he was in on it).
