The Aussie appeared to me to be landing more scoring punches but highlights do not show all parts of the fight. But still very proud of Callum's performance as he fought it out to the finish to the best of his ability. It looked to be a very brutal fight with both young men inflicting heavy punishment on each other. Hopefully they sustained no damage as Boxing is a very dangerous Sport. We should thank both of them for putting themselves at risk and subjecting themselves to pain and discomfort to represent their country and commend them for their Skill, Tactical and Strategic Approach, Strength, Endurance, Determination, Courage and Toughness.

If it were a pro fight, Callum wins every single day. However in amateur/olympic boxing it is about landing cleaner punches not how much your punches are hurting or affecting your opponent. As an Aussie, I knew going into the decision that the Kazak boxer would win. Great showing nonetheless.
