Guys also be aware of the E bug. Once you hit your E after a fraction of a seconds, the marks will proc a second time. You can see it at 4:24 after the ult for example.

I've already faced this in toplane before, Varus needs some sort of rework, no ADC should be able to build like a tank and kill you in one rotation.

In Wild Rift, he is so crazy, people play him at all five roles and build pretty much anything and still oneshots like that.

I remember this strategy coming up during the mythic item seasons, but as a 2nd item, People would go for Nashors and then 1 tank item as a 2nd item, precisely because varus, like Kog'maw, has % max hp dmg.

I love this guy! He had the most interesting varus build I’ve ever seen and it makes for some crazy plays. I’ve seen him once play around with shurelya’s battle song too. I’ve tried this build whenever I can, and it works so well with his kit having a mini barrier to pop in the middle of the q+w charge up! Thanks for bring him some light!

I like to take hail of blades mid with varus. Walk up get 3 quick autos and then use E. Then ult them after to get another free 3 stacks on them for the W+Q finish.

Fighting this in top lane is even more frustrating when you're a melee champ who cannot close the gap without eating the insane %HP damage beforehand. You lose trades against him at all stages of the game, and when he builds resistances, it's night night for you and your lane.

so in short basically abuse the fact that Varus has insane scaling on his W and passive (as I can see that the overall build is AP) enough to feel free to build partly tanky
just exactly like how Vayne can build whatever the hell is in the shop because W makes up her entire existence
