Eva (Eugénie Derouand, Paris Police 1900) has been paraplegic for the past three years. When her birthday arrives, she receives a strange advent calendar as a gift. But instead of the traditional sweets, every day reveals something different; sometimes pleasant but often terrifying, and increasingly bloody. It’s going to be a very deadly Christmas this year. This is a fantastic concept to explore through horror. The greed and impatience we feel when anticipating opening an advent calendar, the unabashed thrill of opening another day, one after the other, then having to start the arduous process all over again... Cannot wait for this film!!

Wow, had to play the beginning back to make sure I was seeing that right, universal and shudder are collaborating! So excited for all the horror goodies shudder has to bring us, Merry Christmas to all at Shudder, and thank you once again for another Joe Bob event this Christmas, Shudder has came such a long way and I just can't wait to see what you guys have in store for the future as we both grow old together... thank you for showing the horror genre and all it's dedicated members some love.

This was a great film! It was a bit like playing Jumanji with a Cenobyte in Silent Hill. The editing in particular was very well done. Also, great prop design (I want that advent calendar), cool "Ich" demon concept, and solid acting by Eugénie Derouand as her character Eva descends into madness.

The first 25-30 minutes was kinda slow and i remember considering to stop watching it but thank god i didn't because after 30 minutes the story gets good..really good xD one of the best horror/mystery/fantasy film i have seen in a while. an easy 9/10 its a must watch

This movie is pretty good, the ending was unexplained though. But it is one of the best horror in this year. Loved it.
